Extended Day Provision
The Winns Primary School operates breakfast and tea time clubs to provide child care facilities for parents who have children attending the school. The clubs aim to cater for all the children who attend on an inclusive basis with an emphasis on learning, achieving, caring and sharing.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast club is open to pupils from Nursery to Year 6 from 7.30am until 8.40am from Monday to Friday. Once breakfast club has finished the children are escorted and supervised in the playground until the children are handed over to class teachers.
Tea Time Club
Tea time club is open from 3.25pm until 5.55pm from Monday to Friday. Children are asked to bring snack and a drink. Full details of how the breakfast and tea time clubs operate can be found below. Nursery Wraparound 2026-2027
Next year we are offering a Nursery Wraparound provision from 3.15pm until either 5:15pm or 5:55pm, from Monday to Thursday. Children will be asked to bring snack and a drink. Full details can be found below. If you require more information or would like to enquire about places, please contact Stephanie King at wraparound@winns.waltham.sch.uk.

New Wraparound Applications 2026-2027 (including Reception)
APPLICATIONS FOR WRAPAROUND PROVISION FOR CHILDREN ENTERING RECEPTION CLASS IN SEPTEMBER 2026.
- All parents requiring a place in our teatime club in September 2026 will be required to apply during the application window which opens on 27th April 2026 at 9am and closes at midnight on 11th May 2026.
Please note – If you require a place for your child, you will need to apply for Teatime Club regardless of your child attending Nursery Wraparound in this academic year
- Please do not apply before the 27th April as the application window is currently closed.
- At the end of this period places will be allocated with accordance to our Wraparound Admissions Criteria.
- Parents will be notified if they have been allocated a place by 21st May 2026.
- Any applicants who have not been offered a place will be added to our wait list.
- Any applications received after the closing date will be added to our wait list.
