Personal, Social, Health and Economic (including Relationships and Sex Education) at The Winns
At The Winns we teach the National Curriculum for Personal, Social, Health and Economic education which can be found here.
PSHE education can be defined as a planned programme of learning through which children and young people acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives, now and in the future. As part of a whole school approach, PSHE education at The Winns develops the qualities and attributes children need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society.
We follow a scheme of work devised by the organisation 1Decision which ensures that we meet all of the requirements of the National Curriculum, and provide an approach to the teaching PSHE and RSE which is in tune with the diverse community that we serve.
