20 Jun Year 6 Young Enterprise Afternoon – A Brilliant Success!
On Thursday, our Year 6 pupils took part in an exciting Young Enterprise afternoon here at The Winns Primary School. The event was a wonderful celebration of creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit. As part of the project, our Year 6 children became young entrepreneurs, using ‘seed’ capital to set up a range of small businesses. From games and challenges to sweet treats and handmade crafts, they worked hard to plan, price, and promote their stalls to children from across the whole school.
Pupils from all year groups had the chance to take part in the fun activities, and it was fantastic to see the school buzzing with energy and enthusiasm. The aim of the event was to raise money for the Year 6 leavers’ party, and we are pleased to say that our young business owners made an impressive profit! Well done to everyone involved for making the afternoon such a memorable success!
