16 Oct Bringing Anansi’s Story to Life!
Following last week’s African drumming workshops, we were delighted to welcome Nat from ShowKids for another creative experience! Nat shared her family’s heritage and introduced the children to a traditional West African folk story about Anansi, a clever spider whose tales travelled from Ghana to the Caribbean hundreds of years ago.
The children brought the story to life through movement and dance, exploring a different way to retell a tale. A huge thank you to Natalie for sharing her heritage and helping us discover the joy of storytelling!
