09 Oct Football Teams Represent The Winns
Our Year 5 and 6 girls represented The Winns at the borough football tournament on Tuesday. Although results didn’t go their way, the team showed resilience, kept going through some challenging matches and supported one another throughout. Well done to all the girls for their effort, teamwork and sportsmanship.
On Friday, our Year 3 and 4 boys showed the same determination at their tournament. After winning one game in the group stage, they went on to play two further matches against other teams who had also been knocked out, winning both. The boys never let their heads drop and kept working together right to the end.
We are proud of both teams for the way they represented our school. Thank you to Coaches Sim & Noah who accompanied the teams and helped make these opportunities possible.
