08 May Creativity and Confidence in Year 2
It has been an incredibly busy and inspiring few weeks for our Year 2 children! The classrooms have been buzzing with energy, starting with a wonderful Reading Morning. Some of the children performed poetry for their parents, showcasing fantastic expression and growing oracy skills. It was a joy to see their confidence shine through every verse.
Back in the art studio, the children have been collaborating with our resident artist, Helen. Under her expert guidance, they explored new techniques and textures, pushing their creative boundaries.
Finally, To celebrate Earth Day, this artistic flair was put to good use as pupils created some handprint art. These vibrant displays serve as a beautiful reminder of our commitment to protecting the planet – one small handprint at a time!
