28 Nov Y6 Residential Visit
Year 6 recently traded their exercise books for wellies and spent a brilliant week down on the beautiful coast of Pembrokeshire at Treginnis Farm, managed by the Farms for City Children charity.
The residential was a huge success, with everyone getting stuck into the demanding (but rewarding!) schedule of farm life. Our pupils learned what it takes to be a farmer, tackling everything from feeding hungry pigs and milking the goats to keeping the donkey field clean and collecting fresh eggs for breakfast.
It’s safe to say they returned home tired, a little muddy, but buzzing with stories of coastal walks, teamwork, and life on the farm. What a memorable experience!
