28 Jun Year 5 Residential Trip to The Hive Outdoor Education Centre – June 2023
Great news! Our Year 5 children arrived at The Hive Outdoor Education Centre in Epping Forest today to attend a three day residential. Having journeyed part of the way by train, they then hiked through the forest before arriving at their destination for a well-earned rest and lunch. They then got stuck in to some exciting activities – as you can see in the photos below. Keep a watch out for regular updates on the Y5 web page.
Friday Update
In the heart of Epping Forest, our group of Year 5 children are having the time of their lives. They have embraced the great outdoors while honing their bushcraft skills, learning to build shelters, identify edible plants, and start fires safely! Yesterday, guided by their instructors, they navigated through the forest using compasses and maps to master the art of orienteering and managed to get back in time for dinner!
