27 Feb Year 5 & 6 Girls Football
Our year 5 & 6 girls football team competed in the borough competition this week. The girls had to wait a long time for their chance to take to the pitch – the tournament was due to take place in October but was postponed twice due to bad weather. It was another fantastic turnout at a girls’ football event with 35 teams from 25 schools taking part in the competition. The girls finished one point short of qualifying for the knockout stages, but represented the school brilliantly.
