28 Apr Year 3 Trip To Walthamstow Wetlands
The last year 3 class finally had their chance to visit Walthamstow Wetlands on Wednesday afternoon after their original visit was postponed. 3LT had a fantastic time, using the learning they had completed in school about the water cycle in a real wetland habitat. The children had the opportunity to explore around the reservoirs and they also took part in bug hunting and pond dipping. As always, a big thank you to the parents who accompanied the class on the trip.
Walthamstow Wetlands host a weekly drop-in session for families from 1pm-4pm on a Sunday. The sessions are completely free and take place in the centre’s outside classroom. For more information, please visit the Wetlands’ website.
