Two of our year 6 children today delivered an inspiring assembly to the rest of the Green Hall children. They spoke about the importance of equality and women’s rights, and how we need to work together to deliver a society which we can say is truly equal for everyone. The girls created a slideshow to accompany their powerful words and also produced a leaflet outlining the important points which they handed out to other children at lunch time. It is fantastic to be able to hear from children in our assemblies on issues that are important to them; we hope to see more children leading assemblies in the future!
