06 Nov Spotlight on Learning: Celebrating Diwali
Our Nursery and Year 1 children have been getting creative while learning about Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights!
Nursery created some wonderful diva lamps, while Year 1 coloured their own diya lamp designs and decorated their hands with colourful patterns inspired by rangoli. These activities offered a lovely opportunity to explore some of the traditions and symbols associated with this special celebration. Well done to our young artists!
Unfortunately, Year 3’s planned Diwali workshop has been rearranged, but we look forward to sharing their experience once it takes place next week.
Happy Diwali to all our families celebrating! We hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends.
