08 Mar Science Club
Last Monday, children who attended the Science after-school club started a new STEM project. They learnt simple circuits through creating a banana piano. They used different kind of technologies which promoted their creativity thinking. One of them, called Makey Makey, is an invention engineering kit for the 21st century. It is an effective, engaging, hands-on way to introduce children to STEM principles.
In the session, the children showed a deep curiosity studying two subjects in parallel – science and computing. During the time, they enhanced their knowledge about electricity, conductors, and inductors, they also developed their digital and engineering skills. The children were enthusiastic, passioned and absolutely loved the project! Thank yous go to Ms Rumi and Ms Ogunlabi for running the club!
