School Meals
At The Winns Primary, we see lunchtime as an important part of the school day. We encourage children to have a school meal that is nutritious and tasty.
From September, children from Reception to Year 6 will no longer have to pay for school meals.
In addition and in line with other Waltham Forest schools, the meat that we will be serving will be halal. This will mean that every child can have a hot meal and choose a meat option if they wish. We will continue to provide a vegetarian option each day and also meet the needs of children who are vegan.
At The Winns, we promote healthy food and ask any children bringing packed lunch ensure it is healthy and varied. Click here for ideas!
