13 Jun London Youth Games – Basketball Finals
Our year 5 & 6 basketball team attended the London Youth Games 3v3 Basketball finals on Monday having won the Waltham Forest title last term. The children experienced a notable step up in the standard of competition, but acquitted themselves brilliantly despite finding themselves on the wrong end of a string of defeats in the group stages. We look forward to our year 5s competing again next year, and hope to hear that our year 6s continue to play as they move on to secondary school.
