23 Jul Le Tour de Winns: A Rainy but Wonderful Success
Despite the rain curtailing our ride around the local roads, Le Tour de Winns was a great success. Many families braved the wet weather to visit the event village, meeting our local Met Police neighbourhood team, enjoying delicious food and snacks in the village café, and getting bikes tuned up by Dr Bike. Spirits were kept high as the rain cascaded down, thanks to our wonderful parent choir who delivered a rather apt rendition of ‘Singing in the Rain’.
A huge thank you goes out to our army of dedicated volunteers for their support, and especially to Karen and Toby for their calm and well-executed coordination throughout the event.
