01 Jul Going Gold at the Value Games!
On Tuesday, a group of our children headed to Peter May Sports Centre to take part in the Value Games. In total, over 500 children from year 2 & 3 across the borough took part in a carousel of 14 sporting activities ranging from boxercise to golf, meeting children from other schools along the way. A group of our Sports Helpers from year 5 led two of the activities, lacrosse and field athletics, working hard to engage and enthuse the younger children across the day. Another group of 30 Year 2 children attended to take part in the events and get to meet different children. Both groups of children represented the school fabulously – well done everyone!
