04 Apr Autism Acceptance Day
We celebrated Autism Acceptance Day this week, uniting to understand and honour those with autism. Children and adults wore blue to show support for inclusivity – thank you to everyone who was able to make a donation. Earlier in the week, a special assembly featured talks on autism and the role of allies, broadening our empathy and understanding. At lunch, some of our children worked on art inspired by the day, now displayed around our lunch club rooms as a reminder of the day. Thank you to everyone who made Autism Acceptance Day meaningful. Together, we’re fostering a more inclusive community.
