19 Jun An Anglo-Saxon Adventure with 4LT!
This week, 4LT transported us back in time with a spectacular class assembly focused on the incredible archaeological discovery of Sutton Hoo. The children brought history alive, confidently sharing the fascinating story of the 1939 excavation in Suffolk, where an Anglo-Saxon ship burial and magnificent treasures were unearthed. Their clear narration and enthusiastic acting demonstrated a superb depth of knowledge about Anglo-Saxon life and culture. A huge well done to 4LT for such an educational and engaging assembly! Thank you to Ms Tassell and the team for preparing the children so well and to all the families who came along to support the children.
