23 Oct Spotlight on Learning – 23rd October
This week, our spotlight celebrates the children’s learning throughout Black History Month! From exploring the achievements of important historical figures such as Katherine Johnson in Year 3 to learning about the civil rights movement through reading lessons in Year 4, children have been discovering the people and events that have helped shape our world. Alongside our workshops and choir performances, this has been a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Black history, culture and contributions.
We have also been delighted to receive so many entries for our Black History Month competition. There is still time to get involved! Please see the bulletin for more details and give your entry to Ms Dodge by Friday 6 November. We look forward to seeing more of your thoughtful and creative work!
