A group of our year 5 & 6 children attended the first stage of Waltham Forest Basketball competition this week. Both of our teams performed incredibly well, with Team A and Team B both battling it out in very tough groups. Team B fought hard to finish their group with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, whilst Team A won 3 and lost 1 in their group. Team A came within one shot of qualifying for the knockout stage, losing out in the final moments of their final game. Both teams represented the school brilliantly and showed excellent team spirit and sportsmanship throughout.
